Wedge Surfboards are handmade with either PU, EPS, XPS Foam core. Laminated with Hexcel glass using high-grade epoxys and resins.

Standard laminations of 6oz bottom deck and 6oz + 4oz top deck, kevlar reinforced tail, carbon-reinforced glass-on fins and finished off with a gloss coat to wet/dry 1000grit.

Optional extras of spray designs, polishes and fin systems with MAISCH 'Pure Glass' fins.

All Wedge surfboards are handshaped by Gary 'Gazo' Maisch who has over 12,000 shapes to his name.

We custom handcraft a limited number of only one board per day with a minimum of 10 hours of skilled labour in each, and takes 3-4 weeks to make from when receiving confirmation of order + 50% deposit. At a cost, no matter where you are worldwide, we can send you your board, using the freight of your choice.

PU : Polyurethane Foam Core/Polyester Resin.
ADVANTAGES: Cheapest of the lot (nice price). Very Stable on Waves, sits in the water (best over 4' surf). Glass-On Fins for performance. Made this way for 50 years, easy to get repaired. Average Life Span, up to 3 years.	DISADVANTAGES: Heaviest of them all (av. 3.2kg). Weakest of them all - Dings easier Heat Sensitive (shrinks)
E.P.S : Expanded Polyestyrene/Epoxy Resin
ADVANTAGES: Lightest of the lot (av. 2.8kg) Feels alive on the wave Very bouyant (like a cork in the water - best under 6' surf) Best value for money Average Life Span, up to 5 years	DISADVANTAGES: When dinged, sucks water like a sponge (Get Out The Surf) Heat Sensitive - Expands (melts at 60*C)
X.P.R : Extruded Polyestyrene/Epoxy Resin
ADVANTAGES: Waterproof Foam Core (2% Absorbtion) Strongest & Hardest of them all (It will hurt you) Medium Weight (Av. 3kg) Average Life Span, up to 7 years	DISADVANTAGES: Heat Sensitive (expands) Bubbles up under impact (opposite to pressures) Most Expensive of the three
